I Train Limited Acquire Skanco’s Training Division

After a brief period of negotiation, ITrain Limited today announced the acquisition of Skanco Business Systems Limited’s training division

Skanco is one of the Islands premier suppliers of optimised IT solutions, and provides a wide range of services covering Outsourcing, Procurement, Training, Internet, Maintenance, Security, E:business, and Disaster Recovery

ITrain is a versatile, specialist training company operating in Port Erin, focusing exclusively on training services. Offering over 300 courses, their expanding portfolio includes IT at all levels, Soft Skills and Bespoke Company Options. They are the Island’s first ECDL testing centre, are Microsoft Office Specialist accredited and members of the Institute of IT Trainers.

Over the next few weeks Skanco’s existing training business will be fully integrated with ITrain, providing a single company covering all aspects of IT and HR training.

Sales Director Paul Marsden commented:
